REMAPPING AND CHIP TUNING
Remapping is basically changing the factory set map (parameters) that control fuel pressure, ignition timing, boost etc. We do this by reading the standard map from the ECU (engine control unit) and SLT Remapping tailor the map to the cutomers preference; Performance or Economy. The 'remapped or tuned' map is then downloaded back the cars ECU.
In most cases the original map is read from the car via the cars own diagnostic port. There is a some ECU's that cannot be read this way and the ECU has to be removed and read on the bench. We can do either with our extensive tooling and training.

PERFORMANCE REMAP
A performance remap is exaclty as the title suggests. The car is remapped to gain the best performance possible either stage 1,2 or 3 in most cases. The power is increased and the engine responds better with a significant improvement in drivability, throttle reponse and torque.

ECONOMY REMAP
An economy remap or 50/50 remap is an increase in power and fuel economy. A slight power increase is gained with upto 15% more mpg. This is ideal for customers who cover want to unlock more potential from their car. This service is popular with fleet customers who want to save fuel costs and reduce CO2 emissions.

DPF REPAIRS
DPF's fitted to modern diesel vehicles can require attention at some point. While the system is not a complicated one, some garages are unable to repair them due to not having the correct tools, knowledge or experience. We can carry out an extensive evaluation of the DPF fault and carry out the correct repair.
